In May 2012, we rescued six boys from the streets in Nakuru. Almost all of them were addicted to sniffing glue - two of them couldn't read or write. After putting them through a reading program, they were able to join a normal school. We bless the Lord for Lerwa Centre of Excellence in Pipeline, Nakuru, where several of our kids learn. In 2016 Kelvin Kemboi (picture on the right) became the head boy. Amazing what God can do.

They are all doing well in school – some of the boys are even now top of their class. We are so proud of these special children.

In Jan 2014 Mary's mom brought her to our place. At that stage Mary has never gone to school and - according to her mother - her new husband didn't want Mary around. We then took her in for two years, while trying to work with her mom. We are grateful that she finally decided to allow Mary back in her life and that Mary can now visit her during school holidays. What a lovely girl Mary has turned into.
